When we repaint your cabinets, although we make touch up repairs, other than a fresh, new color, your cabinets will remain the same. There will be no changing of doors or drawer fronts. So, unless we make some modifications, such as changing hinges, pulls and knobs or adding crown molding or a light rail, your cabinets will look largely the same. However, oftentimes you love your cabinets but they no longer fit in with the rest of the kitchen decor. A new paint job is just the ticket.

The process:

We begin by removing the existing doors, drawer fronts, and any drawers being replaced.

We then send the doors and drawer fronts out for painting off site.

This is followed up with a thorough cleaning of the cabinets’ exterior, especially around the cooking area.

The cabinet face frame is then prepared for painting by repairing and touching up imperfections, e.g. filling holes, dents, cracks and gouges.

Now the cabinets are ready for painting. We apply a primer followed by two finish coats.

Drawers which are being replaced are now installed with soft close slides.

Next, the newly painted doors and door fronts are returned and put up with their original hinges.

Finally, your original or new pull and knob hardware is put on.
